How do I add a Budget?

How to add budgets into your ProcurementExpress.com account.

Method 1 - Adding Budgets manually

1. Navigate to the Budgets Section on the left side of your screen. 

2. Click on New Budget.

3. Enter the name for your budget, the amount (it can be zero), cost code and cost type which can used for holding your account or cost codes. You can have duplicate budget names, cost codes, and cost types which can be used to further modulate your budgets.

4. Enter the start and end dates for the budget, you can leave the start and end dates blank if you want the budgets to stay open indefinitely.

5. Select the approvers for the budgets, or leave them blank.

6. Select the departments (or department alias if you used one) that the budget should be available in. If you leave the department field blank, the budget will be available to all departments.
